Homewards Bound
Heading to my parents, we stop by Burkes Falls for a lesser known but equally as cool attraction, and finish up our road trip with a funny moment.
Long road to Grundy Lake
Our last camp on the road trip before heading homewards. We see cute birds, enjoy mid-week quiet, and have a rude awakening on our last morning.
Trekking on back to Pancake Bay PP
Heading on back home, we stop along the way back home in several spots and enjoy what Northern Ontario has to offer.
Terry Fox and Kakabeka Falls
Taking a break while in Thunderbay, we decided for an easy sight seeing opportunity, as well as visiting a Memorial for a famous Canadian.
Sleeping Giant Provincial Park
Having finally reached Sleeping Giant, we end up biting off more than we could chew as we make our way to the Top of the Giant.
Rolling on to Sleeping Giant PP
The final stretch! Leaving Pukaskwa National Park behind and hitting the road to get to Thunderbay, we stopped along the way to visit unexpected areas.
Pukaskwa National Park
Nearing our goal of Thunderbay, we stay at the breathtaking Pukaskwa National Park. Sunsets on the beach, elder teachings on a hike, and challenging trails around the coastline led to amazing memories and stolen hearts.
Trails of Lake Superior
There were too many trails within Lake Superior for us to do them all in the time we had; but those that we did visit, definitely made a great impression on us.
Lake Superior Provincial Park
We made it to Lake Superior Provincial Park, and after settling in, and freezing our butts off at night, we ended up leaving our hearts here.
On The Road to Lake Superior
Leaving Windy Lake Provincial Park and driving to Lake Superior Provincial Park, there were a few stops along the way that we enjoyed visiting.
